Either way, there's plenty on offer if you're willing to go in search of it. It could be getting to play Doom in Minecraft, or stroll around an exact replica of Mondstadt from Genshin Impact. Some of these projects have been in the works for years, and alongside modding and texture packs, they let you reinvent your game with fresh scenarios.
